The Great American Red, White, and Blue Superhero . . . CAPTAIN MAILBOX!
Episode Two
Captain Mailbox sighed as he sank into a cozy chair at his neighborhood coffee shop and sipped his raspberry steamer. Every delicious sip reminded him how lucky he was to take the advice of a sweet and funny little red-headed boy who recommended a raspberry steamer over a cup of coffee.
It was nice to have a break from chasing and apprehending the bad guys of the world. “If everyone started their morning with a raspberry steamer and a cozy chair, the world would be a happier place,” Captain Mailbox thought.
A sudden commotion at the cash register drew Captain Mailbox’s attention. What was this? A man dressed all in black with a huge white disposable coffee cup on his head was shrieking at the employees. “I WANT YOUR BEANS! ALL OF THEM! THIS IS A BEAN STICK UP!”
Captain Mailbox shook his head at the would-be thief as he slowly placed his steamer on the table. Most thieves didn’t think clearly and this one had only cut out holes in his coffee cup disguise for his eyes, not his mouth. Unfortunately, the employees couldn’t understand a word the man had shouted. Only Captain Mailbox with his ultraspendidsuperhearing did. Captain Mailbox stood up and slowly walked towards the coffee-cup-headed man as the employees desperately tried to figure out what the man wanted to drink.
As the Bean Thief angrily spun around shouting “THIS IS A BEAN STICK UP!”, Captain Mailbox opened his mail slot and shot one heavy-duty cement letter right into the Bean Thief’s stomach. He fell to ground without another word.
With another evil-doer dealt with, Captain Mailbox returned to his cozy chair, his raspberry steamer, and his thoughts about a better world.
